Much for the Residents to Enjoy at Kindlewood

Kindlewood Gym
Now there is no excuse not to work out with the new fully fitted, air conditioned gym now open on the estate.

Not only does it boast multi-functional , easy to use machinery, but also offers free weights equipment, a cardio section and a stretch area also used for pilates and yoga classes.

Wrap-around windows at the entrance lets the natural light in and allows one to enjoy the view of the beautiful green flora around the estate and views of the Mount Edgecombe Retirement Village. Access into the gym is controlled by a biometrics entry system to allow members only access. This also means you can fit your workout in any time of the day (or night) knowing you are safe and secure inside.

Discussions for medical aid accreditation is currently underway and you will soon be able to earn fitness points when you work out at the Kindlewood gym.

New Pizza Oven
The long awaited wood fired pizza oven is a welcome and exciting addition to the Community Centre. With a separate granite working area, it’s the perfect place for a casual pizza night with your friends and family.

Social Committee
Kindlewood Estate has a strong community spirit and residents, Patti, Vanessa and Chan form the social committee volunteer their time to organize regular socials for everyone to enjoy and to get to know one another in a safe, fun environment. To date, residents, friends and family have been treated to a ladies tea for Mother’s Day, braai for Father’s Day, ECR toy story drive at the Family Fun Day and self defense and anti-hijacking presentations. A further full schedule is planned for next year.
