Family Fun Day

It was nail-biting leading up to the annual Kindlewood Estate Family Fun Day with a week of heavy rain and more load shedding scheduled.  But fabulous, glorious sun finally shone on the day and we had uninterrupted power!

What a great turnout.  Residents, family and friends enjoyed an afternoon of fun activities such as air hockey, foosball and arcade games.  Littlies enjoyed a fun time in the soft play area and jumping castle and dropping coloured discs into the giant Connect 4 to watch them cascade out the other end.  The pool was fully occupied with everyone enjoying a refreshing dip and music by the talented Gavin Ferguson sponsored by MyOwn ISP contributed to the fantastic chilled vibe.

Of course, no fun day is complete without delicious food and Anwars Catering did not disappoint with mouthwatering burgers, hotdogs and samosas provided.  Cool drinks and slushies were also available to help keep everyone cool on the day.

Anyone looking for some respite from the heat and activity could take a breather in the Community Centre with tea, coffee and biscuits sponsored by Joekels Tea.  A collection for pre-loved children’s books also took place in the Community Centre and these will be donated to The LEARN Project, a non profit organisation who collect and distribute books to children in need around South Africa.

Thank you all for supporting our events throughout the year.  What a great way to celebrate the start of the festive season and end to a busy year.
