Spring Family Fun Run

With spring officially sprung, what better way to celebrate a glorious sunny Heritage Day than with the Kindlewood Estate Family Fun Run.  Starting and finishing at the Community Centre, over 40 runners and walkers took off on a marked course around the Estate on either a 1km or 3km loop.  3km may not sound like a lot but with the steep undulating hills, some murmurs were overhead afterwards not unlike ‘it was easier climbing Kili.’  Congratulations to Jordan Maehler who was the first male to complete the 3km loop in a time of 14m15s and Hannah Maehler as the first lady in with a time of 17m30s.   The first male and female in the 1km were Luke Marlin and Kayla Andrews.  Well done to all who took part.
